In most research facilities Engineers, Scientists and Researchers rely on scientific journals, books
and handbooks for technical and experimental research. Traditional methods of research are time consuming, overloaded with information, and are oftentimes dated.

The CINDAS interface is a significant improvement over standard reference handbooks. CINDAS databases have search and browse tools that can be used to find the exact information the user is looking for. Many highly respected companies subscribe to CINDAS databases as a supplement to the handbooks, e-books and journals they already use.

Research libraries and technical centers use CINDAS databases for technical and theoretical research, new project developments, practical experiments, presentations and training.

Current sectors using CINDAS data include:
Aerospace
Government Research Labs
Engineering Universities
Nuclear
Automotive
Energy
Armament and Weapons Systems
Construction and Heavy Industry
Oil / Gas
Mining and Metals
Refining and Chemicals
Power Generation
Electronics
Maritime Systems
Transportation
Material Testing

Complete Materials Package
CINDAS data is contained in three individual online databases::

ASMD - Aerospace Structural Metals Database

Contains experimental properties data and relationships for over 220 metal alloys. A selection of material groups includes Titanium Alloys, Aluminum Alloys, Nickel Alloys, Ultra High Strength Steels and others. 500+ properties are separated into 20 easy-to-navigate property groups including: Corrosion, Crack, toughness, strain, impact, deformation, strength and others more...

TPMD - Thermophysical Properties Of Matter Database

Web-based version of the Thermophysical Properties of Matter, the TPRC data series from CINDAS LLC. It is a searchable online database that contains multiple Thermophysical Thermoradiative Properties for Coatings, ceramics, glasses, composites, gas mixtures, polymers, oxides, and organic compounds more...

MPMD - Microelectronic Packaging Materials Database

Searchable, browse-able online database that contains scientific data about thermal, mechanical, electrical and physical properties of electronics packaging materials. Materials include: Ceramics, Intermetallics, Coatings, Composites, Polymers, Solders, Molding Compounds and others more...

Interface Features
The CINDAS web-based interface is intuitive to use:

FIND - the properties of a material by drilling down material groups or property groups.
VIEW - the effects on a given property with changes in temperature.
COMPARE - multiple property curves on one single graph.
REFERENCES - are available for every graph and description.

If two materials are used in close proximity and subjected to wide temperature ranges, it is imperative to know how each material changes in the temperature range.

Benefits

Reduce - costs associated with a project by pre-selecting the materials by using
CINDAS databases.
Shorten the Engineering, Research and Design time by pre-selecting the materials
instead of time-consuming laboratory tests.
Focus on your organizations & primary goals rather then on materials research.
Increase Productivity by finishing projects faster and with lower costs.

Access

The cost of subscription to the CINDAS databases depends on the number of sites that will be accessing the database. Once subscribed, Engineers, Librarians, Researchers, and Scientists all have remote access to the database.

We will gladly provide you with a quote, and answer any questions that you may have. Please email info@i-libra.com for all your questions about the CINDAS databases.
